Tour De France Dinner

To celebrate the 2014 Tour De France Grand Depart taking place here in God’s own county, Shears Yard is hosting a five-course food and wine pairing meal that uses the finest Yorkshire ingredients with a classic French Twist.

Taking place on July 2nd, tickets are just £29.95 for five courses. Each dish is paired with a fine French wine and includes a classic Yorkshire welcome drink.


The Menu

-Venison tartar, truffled egg yolk, smoked venison & black truffle brioche ‘toastie’.

-Pernod cured monkfish, bouillabaisse mousse, shellfish emulsion & lobster beignet.

-Pressing of confit pork belly & boudin noir, pancetta & artichoke barigoule, toasted almonds & puffed pork crackling.

-Warm Camembert foam, apple tart fine & burnt apple puree.

-Raspberry & elderflower bavarois, white chocolate & pistachio honeycomb & a lillet & raspberry sorbet.
