We’ve never been one for starch white tablecloths and strict dress codes at Shears Yard, preferring to offer our guests a fine dining experience, without too much faff.

And now we’re stripping it back even further, with the launch of The Half Yard: an express menu of snack-style dishes to mix, match and share, all with a price point of £3 – £7 per dish and available in the bar area and outside terrace.

It’s been designed for those of us who just need something quick and easy to eat, but who don’t want to compromise on quality and flavour. When you want to enjoy a beer with your mates and some quality food you’ve probably never tried before, all for under £10.

The Half Yard kicks off with 12 dishes thought up by head chef Jamie Clinton, all ideal for sharing or as a snack for one:

The Half Yard is available from 5.30pm until close Tuesday – Friday. Just order at the bar and dishes will be served when they’re ready, rather than all arriving together.
