Shears Yard x North Brewing Co. Tasting Dinner

Join us on April 25th as we team up with North Brewing Co. for an evening of craft beer and inventive cooking.
We’ll be serving up a 5-course menu with each course specifically paired to a North Brewing Co. beer.
The brainchild of the beer-loving folk behind North Bar, North Brewing Co. has quickly established itself amongst the leading breweries in the country and was recently named the ‘Best Brewing Pub Company’ at the internationally acclaimed ‘Publican Awards 2017’.
North Brewing Co. are one of the most pioneering brands on the craft beer scene, so it was only a matter of time before we paired up with them on one of our monthly tasting dinners. Our head chef, Jamie Clinton, has created a masterful one-off menu for the evening, which is full of creative and bold flavour combinations to perfectly compliment each beer.
Pig head scotch egg, monkfish & yuzu scampi fries, ale with pickled onion froth.
Sea trout pickled in fermented rhubarb juice, blood orange and chicken stock reduction, raw rhubarb & grilled sprouting broccoli.
Lamb belly cooked and pressed with wild garlic, malted grains, asparagus, wild garlic oil & cultured cream.
Buttermilk sorbet, pine syrup & puffed grains
Coconut & Jerusalem artichoke sponge, Full Fathom Five ice cream, malt caramel, caramac, coconut & lime meringue.
