We are excited to announce that for our next tasting dinner we are teaming up with Capital Bracer, Portobello Road Gin, to host a 5 course tasting menu and gin pairing.
Our talented bar manager, Simon Tate, has created an autumnal gin cocktail menu to perfectly compliment each of the dishes from our award-winning executive chef, Jamie Clinton.
Born on something of a whim, Portobello Road Gin has quickly established itself as a favourite amongst connoisseur consumers, bartenders and gin fans across the globe. It’s been just over two years since we last collaborated with the fine folk at Portobello Road Gin and we look forward to welcoming their brand ambassador Paul back to Shears Yard to host the evening. He will be on hand to guide you through each of the cocktails.
-Venison tartar, celeriac pickled in cep vinegar, black garlic, dried cep, coal oil & bitter chocolate
-‘Linguini’ of raw kohlrabi, gin compressed cucumber, stone bass ceviche, cucumber juice, vanilla & yuzu
-Duck breast cooked with burnt rosemary & juniper, squash jam, buttermilk, duck leg & squash spring roll
-Shallots cooked in marmite & molasses, frozen Yorkshire blue cheese & celery
-‘Apple crumble’, candied angelica, cream cheese
