We’re excited to announce that for our next tasting event we’ve teamed up with the renowned Champagne House, Taittinger, for a 5 course dinner.
Our Executive Chef, Jamie Clinton, has created a one off seafood menu for the night, with each course paired to a different blend of Taittinger Champagne and one Taittinger red wine.
The night will be hosted by Sandy Greetham of the independent premium wine specialists Hatch Mansfield. Sandy will provide insight into famous champagne and each of the different blends.
Oyster & caviar, baked potato & cucumber
– paired with Taittinger Brut Reserve non vintage
Sea trout tartar, peas, asparagus & broad beans, trout crackling
– paired with Taittinger Prestige Rose
Smoked halibut, kombu dashi, brown shrimps, sea vegetables, pickled lotus root
– paired with Folies de la Marquetterie NV
-Sous vide pork fillet & lobster, melon compression, dill & jersey royals
– paired with Avant Garde, Domaine Carneros Pinot Noir 2013
-Tarragon & peach Pavlova, strawberry ‘caviar’, clotted cream sorbet
– paired with Nocturne Sec NV
