A Taste of New Zealand

We are excited to announce that for our next tasting dinner we are teaming up with four of New Zealand’s acclaimed boutique, family-run producers to host a 5-course wine pairing dinner.
The evening will feature wines from a quad of award winning wineries: Esk Valley; Vidal; Villa Maria; and TeAwa. New Zealand wine is renowned around the world for its unrivalled quality and distinctive flavours and this dinner will be a chance to try six different wines from four of the country’s best producers.
The evening will be hosted by Paul Raper who is the ambassador of all 4 small family producers being showcased.
To compliment the New Zealand wines, our head chef Jamie Clinton has created a dish with Asian influences using bold and rich flavours to tantalise your palette.
Each course will be perfectly paired with a different New Zealand wine
Fresh oyster with ponzu vinaigrette, compressed cucumber, crab & wasabi
Slow cooked duck egg yolk, cheddar soubise, charred corn & kale
Hake roasted with kombu, roast chicken dashi, hazelnut
Honey & lavender glazed duck breast, peaches, beetroot, black pudding
Roasted banana & sesame ice cream, peanut & puffed rice granola, caramelised white chocolate, raspberry pate de fruit
Vegetarian/Pescatarian menu available upon request
Tickets are priced at £60 per person and include 5 courses with 5 paired wines and a welcome drink upon arrival. You can book via our online reservation system.
